Your Opportunity at BVH<\/h3>\n

BVH distributes bitumen, speciality bitumen and polymers for road construction and roofing membranes. We focus on marketing our own and third-party products for these industries, both in Germany and other European countries.<\/p>\n

Tasks:<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Responsible management and coordination of research projects (also in cooperation with external research institutions)<\/li>\n
  • Management and organisation of our bitumen laboratory<\/li>\n
  • Awarding and monitoring research contracts to universities and laboratories<\/li>\n
  • Participation in expert committees<\/li>\n
  • Quality management and complaint handling<\/li>\n
  • Technical customer advice on the application of our products (road & roofing)<\/li>\n
  • Supporting process optimisation through the targeted use of polymers<\/li>\n
  • Formulating polymer bitumen and developing polymer blends<\/li>\n
  • Evaluating international developments in the polymer sector (road & roof)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your profile:<\/h2>\n

    We welcome applications from civil engineers or chemists who ideally have one or more of the following interests or areas of expertise:<\/p>\n

    \u00a0For Civil Engineers:
    \n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Interest or initial experience in road construction.
    \n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Curiosity or experience in polymer chemistry.<\/p>\n

    For Chemists:
    \n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Basic knowledge or interest in plastics, particularly polymers for road and roofing.
    \n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Openness to exploring road construction and technical applications.<\/p>\n
